My character

A situation in which I used a character strenght was in dance, I was having a ballet exam and a huge competition in the same week so a month before that I was having 8 hours of dance in the weekends just to rehers, I couldn't go out with my friends or do anything that wasn't about dance.

In this situation I couldn't do homework so I start getting a lot of 0s so what I did was between rehersals I start doing homework and my grades get so much better thanks to the perseverance that I had.

A situation in which I didn't use my character strenghts was in a fight with my parents. I was fighting with them about going to a party and they were really angry, so when they said the difenetly "no" I was really angry and I went changing my self to go to the party, and they told me that if I didn't change myself to go to the party they maybe would let me go there.

5 tips for school

1. Try to always give the homework no matter if it is worng or if you didn't get anything about the class, fake it until you make it, you will fake that you get it until you actually can get it.

2. Always have a good posture in class, if you have a good posture you will receive easier the information, is kind of the same that the past point, fake it until you make it.

3. If you don't have a homework don't copy it is better to not have work than to give something copied.

4. Always try to get the best part of yourself, be curious and get the most information that you can have.

5. If you are the best person that you can be with the others, the others will make the same for you so help them and you can have a little help from the others.

STUDENT'S DAY

I think that the best character strenght that I have that make me a good student is self-control, because it help me don't talk with my friends and most of my job in class. Once I was in physics class and I could talk with my friends and do the work of the class for homework or do the work in the class without talking with my friends and get my afternoon free of any homework, so I finish my work in the class and didn't talk with my friends and I find out that the work had a limit time at 2:00 so my friends couldn't do it because they couldn't upload the work because you can't upload a document in another class.

One of my friends thinks her best Character Strenghts that they emphaisized the most are tolerance.
She thinks she have tolerance because she always let the people express their opinion and their feelings even if she don't think the same as them. she have applied all of the character strenghts above when she work in teams because she need to tolerate each other.

Teacher's day!!!

I ask Miss Nancy, a teacher from the school some question about her and her character strenghts and this is what I got!

She's married with mister Borrego (a teacher of the school too) and her bithday is in november 22nd; her goals are keep working with teenagers and get to be a mother; dancing, watching movies and travel are some of her hobbies; and her favorite food are shrimps.

She thinks her best character strenght is perseverance, she use it by working until she gets what she want to achive and no giving up when she falls, she keeps trying it. And her worst character strenght is to forgive the people, she works it by trying to understand more the people and by giving giving second chances.

I think I learn a lot of her like everybody can have good and bad parts of itself and you  are the only one who can get the best part of yourself! I totaly admire miss Nancy for getting well with all her students! Happy Teachers Day!!!!!

CHARACTER BOOK

A book that I think it has more than one character strengths is "The falut in our stars" this book is about Hazel Grace a girl with pulmonar cancer and depression who met Augustus Waters boy which had cancer, he starts reading Hazel's favorite book, this book ends at the middle of a sentence, so they will travel to Amsterdam to find Peter Van Houten, the book's writer, just to ask about the end.

For me this book shows curiosity because Augustus and Hazel try to find out the end of the book; this book shows optimist because no matter how sick Hazel is, Augustus try to animate her and show her she can still be happy even if she is "dying".

CHARACTER SONG

A song that I think it has a character strengt is "We are the world" this was a song wrote for victims of the earthquake in Haiti in 2010.
This song is about empathy more than anything because it says that we are part of the world and that we need to help the people because is easier to help them us the ones that don't have a big problem like them.

CHARACTER MOVIE

A movie that has a lot of grit is The Room in this movie tells about how a mother, Joy Newsome, tries to educate his son well even if she is a room in the garden the house of "the old Nick" the one that kidnapped Joy 7 years ago.
For me the grit is in Joy because she wants to educate well his son even if she is out of her mind for being lock out for 7 years.
